Ellen Cline is a multidisciplinary artist born in Connecticut, raised in Central Asia and the Middle East and currently living and working in Houston, TX. She has spent the last few years building a custom ceramics business creating functional tableware for restaurant and cafe use. In 2017, she's set her focus on returning to art making explorations. Her work to this point (writing and installation) centers around symbolic meditative processes and site specific installation, addressing themes of burden-bearing, family, loss and her relationship to the earth.
